GFA to roll out bus strategy to close transportation gap – President Simeon-Okraku

The Ghana Football Associations special initiative to invest in buses for Premier, Division One and Women’s Premier League clubs will take place at the end of the season. According to President Simeon-Okraku the bus initiative is a need area that needs urgent attention to close the transportation gap in the football ecosystem.

“The GFA has identified a big problem with our clubs, the lack of decent transportation for our clubs and I am very sure you do remember our promise to invest in thirty buses for our clubs, this strategy is underway will take full effect at the end of this current football season’’ President Simeon-Okraku told the media in Kumasi

‘’The twelve promised buses representing the first tranche will be ready for our clubs to pick up”.

“The idea is to strategically invest in the purchase of thirty buses for our clubs; these buses will be used by clubs in the Ghana Premier League, Division One League and Women’s Premier League’’ he added.

The strategy is to invest in thirty buses for clubs in the three tier Leagues of Ghana to enhance performance and growth of the domestic game.
