GFA invest $20,000 in Ampem Darkoa Ladies Women’s Champions League campaign

The Ghana Football Association wishes to announce a $20,000 support to Women’s Premier League side Ampem Darkoa Ladies for their Women’s Champions League campaign.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies are currently in Nigeria for the third edition of the WAFU B Women’s Champions League qualifiers, which kicks off on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

The support from the Association aids in air tickets for their trip to Benin City, Nigeria.

Aside the financial support, the GFA offered the double Champions, free accommodation and feeding at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram where the team camped for 15 days in readiness for the tournament in Nigeria.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies will play their first game in the WAFU B competition against Togolese champions Amis du Monde on Sunday, August 20,2023.
