Ghana Football Association Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum, has heaped praise on Accra Hearts of Oak’s goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare, for his exceptional leadership qualities.
Despite a recent mistake against Holy Stars, Asare’s leadership and contributions to the team have not gone unnoticed, keeping five clean sheets.
“Before they conceded against GoldStars, he went five games without conceding. He conceded against Holy stars and even they won,” Twum acknowledged, highlighting Asare’s impressive form.
Twum emphasized that Asare is the leader of the team and has done an outstanding job in bringing Hearts of Oak to its current position.
The GFA Communications Director also noted that many doubted Hearts of Oak’s quality before the season started, but Asare’s performance has been a testament to the team’s strength.
