Ghana Football Association President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has brought his Upper West Regional outreach to an end with a stakeholder meeting in Tumu.

The engagement assembled officials of the Sissala East Municipal FA, club representatives and young referees under the Catch Them Young initiative.

Held at the Municipal Assembly Hall, the session focused on identifying practical ways to grow football at the community level.

It was designed as an open forum, allowing local football actors to freely express their concerns and expectations.

The meeting formed part of the GFA President’s ongoing nationwide tour to connect directly with the foundations of the game.

Earlier, Simeon-Okraku met the Municipal Chief Executive, Honourable Adamu Yakubu, to explore how football can support youth development in the area.

Discussions during the forum touched on administration, officiating and structural challenges within the municipality.

The GFA President emphasized the importance of listening to local voices when shaping national football policies.

He assured participants of continued collaboration between the FA and grassroots football structures.

The Tumu engagement closed his Upper West tour, highlighting a sustained commitment to bottom-up football development.
