German club Würzburger Kickers have been fined 3,000 euros after their fan was found guilty of having racially abused German-Ghanaian forward John Yeboah.

On February 12, this year, Würzburger Kickers faced MSV Duisburg in the German 3. Lig. There was an incident.

After the first half, a Würzburger Kickers fan verbally abused John Yeboah, who had reported the incident.

Following an investigation, the Sports Court fined Würzburger Kickers 3,000 euros for racial insult.

Such acts, according to the court, can no longer be tolerated in sports. Fortunately for the club, the fact that it was an unavoidable action by a fan resulted in a light punishment.

Following the incident, the club have already apologized to MSV Duisburg and John Yeboah.

Würzburger Kickers made it clear that it does not condone any form of abuse.

Yeboah, on loan from Dutch side Willem II, has recorded three assists in 14 league games for MSV Duisburg.
