Marquee Ghana attacker Joseph Paintsil waved his magic as he set up Antoine Semenyo in the 96th minute to score the winning goal for the Black Stars.
Paintsil, 25, replaced Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew with 21 minutes of normal time on the clock.
With the clock ticking for Chris Hughton’s side, it took the Genk star to appear on the scene to stir up the goal area of the Palancas Negras.
The ex-Tema Youth man, who has 12 goals in 26 games for Genk this season, pressed and persevered in the area as he committed Adilson Cipriano Da Cruz in the Angolan goalpost.
He then squared the ball for Semenyo who was in a better position to smash the ball home for the winner.
