Ex-Manchester United defender Gary Neville has attributed Arsenal’s title woes to “drop in form” of Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey.
The midfield gem started the season on a good note for the Gunners but could not. maintain his momentum leaving Mikel Arteta with no option than to drop him for winter signing Jorginho in the last three games.
Arsenal’s dream of winnings the English Premier league is all but over after suffering a heavy loss to Brighton.
“He’s been in a shadow of himself in the last few weeks, Partey,” said Neville.
“He has been nowhere near it. A large part of the season, he has been fantastic.
“His form and composure have deserted him at the most vital time.”
Manchester City need just a win from the remaining games to win the title.
