Garnacho’s agent confirms interest in Man United prodigy’s signature

Alejandro Garnacho’s agent confirms interest in Man United prodigy’s signature

The agent of Manchester United sensation Alejandro Garnacho has, on Thursday, provided an update on his client’s future with the club.

Regular viewers of United will of course be well aware of the reputation being built for himself by Garnacho at Old Trafford.

This comes with the 17-year-old, despite his tender years, having long emerged as one of the shining lights in the Red Devils’ famed academy.

In fact, so impressive was the midfielder en route to Young Player of the Year honours across the recently-completed campaign, that he was even rewarded with a first pair of appearances at senior level by the since-departed Ralf Rangnick, in Premier League meetings with Chelsea and Crystal Palace.

Elsewhere, Garnacho recently caught the eye on the international stage, too, courtesy of a stunning brace during an U20s meeting between Argentina and France:

Speaking to the media on Thursday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his client’s future was put to the representative of Man United’s burgeoning young talent.

Recent days have seen Garnacho tipped for a move away from Old Trafford, amid suggestions that Serie A giants Juventus are hopeful of repeating their previous exploits in luring Paul Pogba to Turin during the fledgling years of his career.

And, during an exchange with Calciomercato, the midfielder’s agent, Eugenio Ascari, was not shy in confirming Italian interest in his client’s services.

Significantly, though, Ascari also went on to assure that ‘it will not be easy’ to claw Garnacho from the clutches of Manchester United:
