Former Black Stars forward Joel Fameyeh bagged a hat-trick on Saturday when FC Orenburg mauled Tekstilshchik Ivanovo at away in the Russian National Football League.
The 24-year-old striker grabbed his first hat-trick of the season for the Blue and Whites outfit as they moved closer to top-flight promotion with a 5-2 victory.
Khachim Mashukov got the opening goal for the hosts after 22 minutes but Fameyeh drew Orenburg level in the 34th minute.
Mashukov scored again restore the advantage for Tekstilshchik before the break.
Fameyeh equalised again for the the visitors two minutes after the hour mark from the spot before his side jumped into a 3-2 lead two minutes later with a nice finish from Danila Khotolev.
The former Asokwa Deportivo player striker sealed his first league hat-trick this season with another strike in the 65th minute.
Nikolai Prudnikov increased the advantage for Orenburg eight minutes later.
Fameyeh has 15 goals and 6 assists in 25 matches this season in the Russian second-tier as his team is just point away from clinching promotion.
