Fortuna Dusseldorf are interested in Ghanaian defender Jan Gyamerah, who is set to leave Hamburger SV.
Gyamerah’s contract, which expires in June, is not being extended by Hamburger. The right-back, on the other hand, is eager to stay.
Gyamerah, according to reports, has requested a meeting and is hoping for an extension. If he does not sign a new contract with Hamburger, he will leave on a free transfer at the end of June.
Dusseldorf is eagerly awaiting the outcome of the meeting because Gyamerah is on their wish list. They like the player and plan to sign him before the start of the next season.
Gyamerah’s 2021/22 season was disrupted by injuries as he made 21 appearances and recorded one assist.
