Former champions Hasaacas Ladies open six points gap in Southern Zone

Four-time champions Hasaacas Ladies have opened a six point gap in the Southern Zone of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League. The Sekondi Ladies are unbeaten in nine Premier League games – after winning seven and drawing two of their matches in the first round of the season.

They sit at the top of the table with 23 points – six points ahead of Berry Ladies who are on 17 points and seven points richer than Army Ladies who are third in the table. Dansoman based Faith Ladies finished the round without defeat but have won lesser games compared to the leaders.

Faith Ladies have won three and drawn six in nine games – leaving them in fourth place with 15 points – 8 points adrift of the leaders and two points behind second placed Berry Ladies.  The bottom three clubs are Jonina Ladies, Essiam Socrates and Sea Lions who occupy the 8th, 9th and 10th positions respectively.
