Former Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Brimah has signed for Spanish lower-division side Club Deportivo Torreperogil for the 2025/26 season, marking the 13th club of his professional career.
The 38-year-old joins on a one-year contract with an option to extend, following his previous stint with Calahorra.
The club welcomed him on social media, stating: “We are pleased to announce the addition of goalkeeper Razak to our team. A goalkeeper with proven experience at higher levels. Welcome.”
Brimah’s career has spanned nearly two decades, including multiple Spanish clubs such as Real Betis, Mirandés, Córdoba, and Tenerife.
He also had a spell in South Africa with Mamelodi Sundowns in 2017.
The veteran shot-stopper is expected to make his debut this Sunday, November 23, against Recreativo Granada.
Brimah was Ghana’s first-choice goalkeeper when the Black Stars reached the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations final in Equatorial Guinea and played again at the 2017 edition in Gabon.
He began his European journey with Portuguese side Chaves before spending almost ten years in Spain with clubs including Poli Ejido, Betis B, Real Betis, Guadalajara, and CD Mirandés.
After a brief return to Africa with Mamelodi Sundowns, Brimah resumed his career in Spain, continuing to bring experience and leadership between the posts.
