Flamengo beat Athletico Paranaense to win the Copa Libertadores

Third coronation for Flamengo! After a first coronation in 1981 and another in 2019, the Brazilian club has just won the third Copa Libertadores in its history against Athletico Paranaense, in a 100% Brazilian final, this Saturday evening.

Thanks to a goal from Gabriel Barbosa, served by Everton Ribeiro, just before half-time (45th + 3), the Red and Blacks won by the smallest of margins, while Athletico were ten from the 43rd minute. A result sufficient to triumph throughout South America, for the third time in their history.
