Fifty-Eight female referees & assistants pass mid-season fitness & written exams

Ninety-one percent (91%) of the female referees and assistant referees who took part in the mid-season fitness and written examination test have passed the course.

Out of seventy (70) female match officials, six (6) did not take part in the mid-season course due to medical reasons. Of the Sixty-four (64) Match Officials who took part in the course, two (2) referees and four (4) assistant referees failed the course, representing a 91 percent pass mark.

Meanwhile all four (4) FIFA female referees and four (4) female assistant referees have passed both tests. The fitness and written examinations were conducted in Kumasi on Saturday, February 10, 2024 ahead of the resumption of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.
