The Ghana Football Association, in collaboration with FIFA, will organize the FIFA Women’s Football Campaign for girls under 12 years of age in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana.

The programme will provide a unique platform to encourage girls’ participation in women’s football at the grassroots level, whilst promoting the game and implementing the GFA Women’s Football Strategy.

The participating primary schools in the Ashanti Region will be grouped into four municipalities, namely: Suame, Kwadaso, Asokore Mampong, and Kumasi Metro, as they compete at the Opoku Ware School from November 12 to November 13, 2024.

With the GFA’s aim of developing grassroots football across the country, this initiative will help girls improve their abilities, be ambitious, play without judgment, and make their own decisions, and play in small-sided games.
