Medeama SC goalkeeper Felix Kyei has declared that the club’s ultimate ambition this season is to compete for — and win — every available trophy.

The Yellow and Mauves remain firmly on course for a potential domestic double after eliminating Samartex 1996 to reach the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup, while also sitting top of the Ghana Premier League table after 21 matches.

Their FA Cup Round of 16 encounter at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa ended in a tense goalless draw after regulation time, forcing the contest into a penalty shootout. Medeama held their composure from the spot, converting four kicks to secure a 4-2 victory and progression to the last eight of the competition.

Speaking after the win, Kyei emphasised the team’s hunger for silverware while maintaining a cautious, step-by-step approach.

“We are competing for every trophy this season. We want to win any competition we find ourselves in, but we will take it game by game,” he said.

The victory extends Medeama’s impressive run of form as the FA Cup gathers momentum, reinforcing belief within the squad that a successful campaign on multiple fronts is achievable.

Medeama SC will next face Division One League side Attram De Visser Academy in the quarter-finals, with the fixture date yet to be confirmed by the FA Cup Committee and the Ghana Football Association
