FC Samartex dream of Hearts upset as Ennin eyes home win

Ghana Premier League

FC Samartex head into their Ghana Premier League clash against Hearts of Oak this evening with confidence and belief, according to head coach Christopher Ennin.

The Timber Giants arrive in Accra buoyed by a vital 1-0 victory over Heart of Lions last weekend, a result that dented their opponent’s title push.

That win was sealed by Emmanuel Mamah’s composed finish in the 41st minute, further boosting Samartex’s momentum.

Today’s encounter presents a significant opportunity, as victory would lift Samartex to 27 points and potentially push them into the league’s top four.

“It’s every player’s dream to play against Hearts of Oak, so our preparations this week have been superb. We are fully ready for the game, ” Ennin said.

The coach believes the occasion itself will bring out the best in his players under the lights.
