Exclusive: Vejle Boldklub shows interest in signing Ebenezer Ofori

Vejle Boldklub has shown interest in signing Ebenezer Ofori who is currently playing on loan at the club from AIK footballghana.com can report.

The midfielder, who was a great success at AIK during his first stay at the Stockholm club, did not play much after his return to the club in 2020 and left for playing time earlier this year.

So far, Ofori has only been listed for ten appearances for Vejle, but that is enough for the club to make the loan deal permanent, confirms the club’s sports director Marius Andrae.

“Ofori is a player I was very keen to get to the club, and it is clear that it is interesting to review the possibility of attaching to him permanently,” Andrae said.

“We still have five league matches left to play and a return match against Midtjylland in the cup, so we have not made a final decision yet. It is impossible to take him back on loan, so if we keep him, it will be permanent,” he added.
