RB Leipzig is among several top European clubs showing strong interest in Ghanaian centre-back Kojo Peprah Oppong, who currently plays for IFK Norrkoping in Sweden.
The 20-year-old defender has impressed with his consistent performances and maturity at the back. Oppong’s rise to prominence began at Attram DeVisser Academy in Ghana before he moved to Europe.
His impressive skills, including reading the game, aerial strength, and ability to play out from the back, have caught the attention of several clubs.
Besides Leipzig, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, and Galatasaray are also reportedly monitoring his development.
With his contract running until 2026, Norrkoping is in a strong negotiating position, but a summer transfer is possible if Leipzig or others meet the valuation expectations.
Danish clubs FC Midtjylland and FC Copenhagen are also keeping tabs on Oppong.
