Ghanaian teenager John Batigi has signed a four-year contract with Danish club AC Horsens.

The 18-year-old forward joins from Bulgarian outfit Botev Plovdiv, where his impressive performances caught the attention of European scouts.

Batigi’s rise to prominence began in Ghana’s youth system, particularly with the national U17 team.

He made a breakthrough in Armenia with FC Van, scoring seven goals and providing an assist in 17 appearances.

His standout displays earned him a move to Bulgaria, but bigger clubs soon took notice. AC Horsens, known for nurturing young talent, has secured Batigi’s services, with an official announcement expected soon. T

The Danish side hope to leverage his pace, finishing ability, and work ethic to bolster their attack as they push for promotion to the Superliga.
