Ghana forward Kwabena Owusu will be extending his stay at Turkish club Ankaragucu at the end of the season, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The on-loan Qarabag star has been in phenomenal form for the Turkish TFF 1 league side, scoring 7 goals in 20 appearances. He has also provided four assists in the campaign.
GHANASoccernet.com can reveal that Ankaragucu have been impressed with the forward’s displays and are set to tie him down to a permanent deal.
His contract with the Azerbaijani giants expires in 2023, and it looks like Qarabag FK will cash in on the talented forward.
Kwabena Owusu has been Ankaragucu’s best player this season and other clubs in Turkey are monitoring negotiations between Qarabag and Ankaragucu, for a potential hijack.
The former Ghana U23 star joined Qarabag in 2020 from Spanish side CD Leganes, but spent just a season before moving on loan to Ankaragucu.
He previously played for Real Oviedo, FC Cartegena, Salamanca and Cordoba CF.
