Exclusive: Attacker Emmanuel Roe Addo joins Greek second tier club Ilioupoli

Greek Super League 2 side Ilioupoli have signed Ghanaian attacker Emmanuel Roe Addo Footballghana.com can exclusively report.

Despite being only 22, the striker for Ghana’s U20 national team has already made five appearances. He began his professional career in Ghana with Liberty Professionals, from where he moved to Portugal in 2019 to play for FC Vizela’s U23 team.

From there, he moved to Asteras Vlachiotis in 2021, where he excelled and scored one goal in nine games. He played with Apollon Pontos through December of the current season.

Emmanuel Roe Addo joins Ilioupoli on a free transfer and his current contract with the Greek side will run till 30th June 2023.

Addo’s current market value is 73,000 euros. He will wear shirt number 29 till the end of the season.

Ilioupoli signed Emmanuel Roe Addo to help them boost their chances of climbing the league table from their current position which is 8th.

Ilioupoli is managed by coach Nikolaos Pantelis and play their home games at Ilioupoli Indoor Stadium.
