Dirk Kuyt has been named manager of Dutch side ADO Den Haag, giving him his first senior management role in football.
Kuyt retired in 2017 and has now started his managerial career in the Eredivisie with a formal presentation already organised for later this week.
“I am very proud to announce that I will be the next coach of ADO Den Haag,” he wrote on his Twitter account.
“Looking forward to start!”
