Former Hearts of Oak striker Kofi Kordzi has advised the club to balance experienced players with young talent in their squad for the upcoming season.
In an interview with Asempa FM, Kordzi emphasized the need for the club to sign seasoned players to assert its authority and dominance in the league.
He suggested recruiting six or seven senior players and complementing them with two or three young players.
“Hearts of Oak should recruit six or seven senior players and add two or three young players to them and blend them for the upcoming season.
“Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are the two biggest clubs in Ghana. Those days, look at the kind of players who play for these two clubs, they are huge figures.
“For now, the young players are more than the senior players in the team. So there is no control in the team,” he added.
Hearts of Oak has already begun strengthening their squad with signings like goalkeeper Benjamin Asare and Michael Boateng from Nations FC.
