Europa League semi-final ties confirmed

West Ham produced arguably their greatest European away performance as they beat Lyon 3-0 to advance to the Europa League semi-finals.

The Hammers lost 1-0 at home in the opening leg but put in a near-perfect performance as they swept aside the French club.

The three goals came in an 11-minute period either side of the break, with an unmarked Craig Dawson (38) nodding West Ham ahead, at the near post.

Declan Rice made it 2-0 going into the break before Jarrod Bowen calmly slotted home a third five minutes after the restart.

In another match, Eintracht Frankfurt stunned favourites Barcelona to advance to the last four with a 3-2 win at Camp Nou, 4-3 on aggregate.

Here is the semi-final lineup;

First legs (28 April)

  • Leipzig vs Rangers
  • West Ham vs Frankfurt

Second legs (5 May)

  • Rangers vs Leipzig
  • Frankfurt vs West Ham
