Berekum Chelsea forward Emmanuel Sarpong has revealed that their goal for the 2024/25 season is winning the Ghana Premier League.
The Bibires last won the title in 2011, their first and only top-flight success.
With two wins and four draws from six games, Berekum Chelsea sits 5th in the Ghana Premier League standings.
Speaking on Wontumi FM, Sarpong expressed confidence in the team’s ability to claim their second league title.
“Our prime target for the season is to win the Ghana Premier League title and play in Africa.
“The leadership of the club is ready to facilitate the teams Africa campaign if we are able to win the league to secure a spot.”
Chelsea finished third last season after an impressive run in the league.
They will face Legon Cities on matchday 7 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Sunday.
