Spezia coach Luca Gotti has heaped praise on Ghana forward Emmanuel Gyasi after his side’s 2-2 stalemate at home to Bologna at the weekend.
Gyasi, 28, put a decent performance in a make-shift defensive role as the two team shared the spoils.
The Ghanaian, who insists he can adapt to different roles at the club, was hugely impressive defensively.
And Spezia gaffer Luca Gotti has been left impressed with the work ethic of the versatile Ghanaian.
“Verde was very important in the last championship and this year we never had him. He scores goals, assists, so he has an important specific weight in a team like ours.
“Gyasi and Nzola did a huge defensive job in the first half, so they paid off in the second. Kiwior has the courage of a lion: he agrees to keep the line very high, but he has to manage the depth better.
I’m working very differently from Udine because the team is very different.” Gotti said
