Eleven Wonders have turned to former Tema United coach Emmanuel Aidoo as their interim manager as the club battles to steady a turbulent season.
Aidoo is expected to lead the side in their crucial MTN FA Cup Round of 64 meeting with Tumantu Dominasi FC, where Wonders will be desperate to finally register their first competitive win of the campaign.
His appointment follows the sudden exit of head coach J.E. Sarpong, who parted ways with the club just 20 days after taking charge.
The managerial shake-up adds to a chaotic period for the Techiman-based side, who had earlier seen Nii Odartey Lamptey resign before Sarpong’s short stint.
Wonders remain winless after 11 league matches, losing eight and drawing three, a run that leaves them anchored at the bottom of the table with only three points.
With the season slipping away, Aidoo’s immediate task is to stabilise the dressing room and spark a turnaround, starting with their FA Cup outing this weekend.
