Former Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has voiced his optimism in Black Stars head coach Otto Addo’s capacity to assemble a formidable team.
The ex-Udinese midfielder is particularly impressed with Addo’s decisions in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Speaking to Joy Sports in an interview, Badu praised the team’s performances against Mali and the Central African Republic, citing positives to build upon.
“He’s bringing in new good guys. There are a lot of lapses in the team. That one, we can’t run away from that. He’s well experienced.”
“I’m a fan of him. Let me tell you that for a fact. I think he will build a good team for us.
“He should be very tough like how he is as usual. Take decisions that he thinks will help him and help the team. That’s the most important thing.” He added
Ghana will be action in September in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
