A humourous exchange between Liverpool pair Harvey Elliott and Mohamed Salah has piqued attentions across social media on Monday.
Jurgen Klopp’s squad, of course, took to the streets of Merseyside 24 hours ago.
Fresh off the back of heartbreak in the Champions League final, just a week on from seeing their Premier League title hopes too brought to a definitive end, the Reds put on a collective brace face, to embark on a city-wide parade.
This came with Liverpool, despite their late-season disappointment, having nevertheless managed to bag a cup double, courtesy of both the FA Cup and League Cup.
Amidst the club’s celebratory endeavours, in turn, a whole host of noteworthy footage was subsequently captured, as Klopp’s squad finally let loose on the back of a long and testing campaign.
And, as alluded to above, one such video – centering on attacking pair Harvey Elliott and Mohamed Salah – has turned the head of many a Reds fan on Monday.
This comes with the former, after spotting a camera pointed in the direction of himself and Salah, having less-than-subtly encouraged his talismanic teammate to put pen to paper on a new contract at Anfield:

Salah’s current Liverpool terms are of course primed to come to an end in the summer of 2023, with efforts ongoing to convince the Egyptian to commit his long-term future to the club.
Mane on the way out
Whilst those in a position of power on the red half of Merseyside remain hopeful of one member of the club’s star-studded frontline staying put, though, another appears primed for an imminent exit.
The player in question? Sadio Mane.
Those of a Liverpool persuasion will of course be well aware that wide-man Mane’s time at the club appears all but up, after the Senegalese made his intention to seek out pastures new known on Sunday.
German giants Bayern Munich, in turn, are viewed as the early frontrunners for his signature.
Sadio #Mané is very close to joining Bayern Munich. He has decided to leave Liverpool, Klopp and his teammates are informed.
PSG is not completely out of the race yet, but he prefers Bayern – as he can be the big star there.
