Eintracht Frankfurt may offer Ansgar Knauff a four-year contract

Christopher Michel, a Sport1 journalist and SBU expert, has explained Ansgar Kanuff’s situation with Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Knauff, who represented Frankfurt in 17 competitive games during the first half of the season, is anticipating signing a four-year contract with SGE in the summer.

If a contract is reached, Michel estimates the entire cost (transfer fee plus salary) at 18 to 20 million euros. If Knauff is given the proper perspective, Frankfurt can likewise estimate probabilities.

Ansgar Knauff signed an 18-month loan agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt on January 20, 2022.

The 20-year-old scored his first goal for Eintracht in a 4-1 win over Hertha BSC on March 5.

Ansgar Knauff started the 2022 UEFA Europa League Final against Rangers on May 18, 2022, and won the Europa League trophy with his club after a penalty shoot-out.

This season Ansgar Knauff has made 11 appearances and scored one goal in the German Bundesliga. He is likely to travel with the Frankfurt squad to Dubai next year for winter training after recovering from thigh injury.
