Ghanaian teenage forward Edmund Baidoo is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about young attackers in Europe after an encouraging start to life at RB Salzburg.
The 19-year-old has caught the attention of several high-profile clubs, with interest reportedly coming from Germany’s top flight.
Bayer Leverkusen are among those monitoring his progress, while Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart have also been linked with the striker.
Stuttgart are understood to have made enquiries about Baidoo’s situation, although a January move was never viewed as realistic.
Baidoo has made a solid impact in the Austrian Bundesliga, scoring five goals in 15 appearances this season.
His consistent performances have also drawn interest from clubs outside Germany, underlining his growing reputation across Europe.
Despite the attention, Salzburg remain firmly in control of his future, with the forward contracted to the club until 2029.
There is no release clause in his deal, strengthening the Austrian champions’ hand in any negotiations.
Baidoo joined Salzburg from Norwegian side Sogndal in August 2024 in a €3.3 million transfer.
