Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Solomon Bonnah has completed a transfer to Austria Klagenfurt.

The 19 year old joins the Austrian club on a three year deal from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

“Solomon is a young, hungry, ambitious lad who can play on the right flank in both the back line and the attacking line.

“He is technically strong and has brutal speed. We are convinced that he will continue to develop at Austria and we are happy to have tied him to us in the long term,” said Austria Klagenfurt sporting director Matthias Imhof.

The 19-year-old began his career at Zeeburgia Yth. He moved on to Ajax, where he played for the U17 team before joining RB Leipzig in 2019.

Bonnah is eligible to play for Ghana or the Netherlands.
