Dutch-born Ghanaian Brian Brobbey impresses with an assist in Ajax away win over NEC Nijmegen

Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Brian Brobbey made an impressive impact to help Ajax secure an away victory over NEC Nijmegen in the Eredivisie on Sunday.

Brobbey started and lasted 68 minutes and contributed immensely as his outfit cruised to a 2-1 win over their opponent at the Goffertstadion.

The first half of the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net in the thrilling clash.

Iceland international Kristian Hlynsson shot the visitors into the lead in the 57th minute after he was set up by the Ghanaian attacker.

Ajax doubled their advanatage through Carlos Borges in the 88th minute mark before Elayis Tavsan pulled one back for the host.

Brobbey has been a key contributor to Ajax’s campaign this season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in 19 games across competitions.
