Dreams FC beat Liberty Professionals to make MTN FA Cup quarter final

Dreams FC beat Liberty Professionals 3-0 to advance to the quarter finals of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup competition.

The Still Believe lads scored two first half goals and added the third in the second half through Ali Huzaif. Gael Ahorlu opened the scoring in the 13th minute as he got on the end of Victor Oduro’s delicious delivery to head home.

The home side increased the tally four minutes later through a Prince Boateng Junior own goal. The youngster put the ball into his own net in an attempt to clear a long throw in from Daniel Adade in the 17th minute to make it 2-0 for Dreams FC.

After the recess, Ali Huzaif capitalized on a defensive error by Kwame Paul to smash home the third goal. Huzaif won the ball from defender Kwame Paul before rounding up the goalkeeping to slot home coolly for the third goal.

The other Round of 16 matches will take place on Sunday across seven League Centres.
