Dream come true to be at World Cup – Jojo Wollacott

Black Stars goalkeeper, Jojo Wollacott says representing Ghana at the World Cup is his ultimate dream.

The Charlton Athletic shot-stopper is expected in coach Otto Addo’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana qualified via the heroic display from Wollacott who had just joined the senior national team in 2021.

Wollacott spoke in an interview with Oyerepa FM.

“The most important thing is to represent Ghana at the World Cup, that’s the ultimate goal and that’s a dream come true for me.

“We have got a big team, a big country, and big players. I am sure we will be ready for the group stages.

“So we hope to be successful in Qatar.”

Ghana are drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.

The Stars begin their World Cup journey against Portugal on November 24.
