The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has postponed the draw for the Championship of Africa Nations (CHAN) qualifiers.
The draw was scheduled to be held on April 29 according to an earlier communication from CAF.
“The TotalEnergies CHAN Algeria 2023 qualification draw initially scheduled for Friday 29 April has been postponed”, a statement on CAF website indicated.
“CAF will communicate new dates in due course. We apologized for any inconvenience caused”, the statement added.
The tournament is organized for home-based players in the various leagues on the continent.
Algeria will host the next edition of the competition from January 8-31, 2023.
