Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani believes his side did enough to secure all three points despite a goalless draw with Aduana FC.
The Ghana Premier League encounter on Sunday was played at Dormaa Ahenkro and featured two sides separated by just three points before kickoff.
Throughout the contest, Hearts enjoyed more possession and pushed higher up the pitch for long periods.
However, the Phobians struggled to convert their dominance into clear-cut chances.
“It’s a difficult ground, but we came here to contest the three points. I think we deserved all three points, not just a single point,” he said.
He also praised his players’ tactical discipline.
“I think we controlled their transitions and kept our game, our identity, in terms of our positional play and how we were able to press by not allowing them to play from the back,” he added.
Despite the draw, Aduana remain top of the table with 28 points, having played two more matches than Medeama SC.
Hearts of Oak move up to fourth place on 25 points as the title race continues to tighten.
