Borussia Dortmund have joined Manchester United and Real Madrid in the race to sign Bayern Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong.
The Dutch Born defender is in high demand following his outstanding performances in the Bundesliga this season.
The full back has scored five goals and provided two assists in 17 competitive games this season.
Dortmund have targeted the 21 year old as a possible replacement for their veteran right back Thomas Meunier.
The Black and Yellows are however aware stiff competition from two of the biggest clubs in England and Spain.
Frimpong who joined Die Werkself from Celtic Glasgow for around 11 million euros in January 2021, still has a contract in Leverkusen until 2025,
He will be hoping to make Louis van Gaal’s final World Cup squad, but Ghana is also in talks with the defender, who he could represent through his parents.
