Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon expressed satisfaction after guiding his side to a 2-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars in Week 17 of the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking after the match on Sunday, Dormon praised his players for showing the right mentality following their previous defeat to Bibiani Gold Stars, but admitted there is still work to be done in attack.
“On reflection, I’m a bit elevated because we came into this game on the backdrop of a painful defeat to Bibiani Gold Stars,” Dormon said.
“We approached this game with the correct attitude and mentality to make sure we collected the three points.”
While pleased with the result, the Dreams FC boss stressed that his team must be more efficient in the final third.
“Overall, it was a decent performance and a decent result, but we have a lot to correct in the final third,” he added.
The win lifts the Still Believe side to 12th place on the Ghana Premier League table after 17 matches.
Dreams FC will next face Heart of Lions as they open the second round of the ongoing top-flight campaign, with Dormon hoping to build momentum from the Holy Stars victory.
