Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot is expected to stay at Old Trafford this summer despite speculation linking him away, the player’s agent Carlo Goncalves revealed exclusively to 101.
There had been suggestions that both the Portuguese defender and fellow right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka have been catching the eye of former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho this summer.

However, while Wan-Bissaka is thought to be free to leave for the right price, Dalot, who usurped the Englishman in the pecking order under Ralf Rangnick, is expected to stay.
Dalot spent the 2019/20 season on loan with AC Milan, and made 24 appearances last season in an underwhelming Red Devils campaign, taking his total number of outings in a Manchester United shirt to 65 since he joined from Porto in 2018.

And, with former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag taking over the club this summer, there was suggestion that Dalot may be one player moved on. However, as per his agent Carlo Goncalves, the Portuguese defender is planning for a new season at Old Trafford.
Speaking exclusively to 101, Goncalves claimed that ‘he is very happy at Manchester United. The season went well for him personally, but obviously, it didn’t go well for Manchester United given the club’s expectations. But we are expecting Diogo to stay for next season, for sure’.
There is sure to be plenty of change in Manchester this summer, with Edinson Cavani and Nemanja Matic having already agreed to depart the club, and the Red Devils having today confirmed that both Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard will follow the pair. Meanwhile, links with Frenkie de Jong persist and Jurrien Timber is another being tracked.
