Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has outlined his side’s approach for their Ghana Premier League Week 20 encounter against Eleven Wonders, urging his players not to underrate the relegation-threatened side.
The Phobians take on Eleven Wonders on Saturday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in what promises to be a crucial league fixture.
Speaking ahead of the game, Dramani described Wonders as a quality team whose league position does not reflect their true strength, stressing that Hearts must remain focused and disciplined.
“I think that the position of Eleven Wonders should not deceive people. They have one of the finest squads in the league. They play fluid football and keep the ball more,” he said.
Dramani revealed that Hearts of Oak will look to exploit what he considers weaknesses in Wonders’ defensive organisation while still respecting their strengths.
“We will try as much as possible to create the spaces they will create and take advantage of their vulnerability. We will respect what they have and also exploit their inability to defend as a team,” he added.
The Week 20 fixture between Hearts of Oak and Eleven Wonders is scheduled to kick off at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 24.
