Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has admitted that improving his side’s attacking output remains a major priority as the season progresses.
The Phobians currently have the weakest offensive record in the league, having managed just 11 goals from 17 matches, a return that has limited their push up the table.
Hearts travelled to Tarkwa hoping to build on a three-match unbeaten run that included victories over Nations FC and Samartex, as well as a draw against Aduana FC.
However, their resilience was eventually broken in the second half when Medeama found the breakthrough at the TnA Stadium.
A moment of quality in the 75th minute allowed the home side to snatch the lead, underlining Hearts’ struggles in both boxes.
“We had chances in the first and second halves,” Didi said.
“These chances, you dont miss them but we are still work in progress.
“Absolutely, if we have the solution to do that, why not, very important.”
The defeat allowed Medeama to remain top of the league standings with 34 points, while Hearts were left reflecting on another game where efficiency proved decisive.
