Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has played down reports suggesting he is set to quit the Phobians amid their mixed start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The former Asante Kotoko boss, who joined Hearts before the start of the campaign, has so far recorded six wins, seven draws and two defeats, leaving the Accra-based club fourth on the table with 25 points after 15 matches.
Speculation about his future emerged after Hearts’ goalless draw with Aduana FC in Dormaa at the weekend, where Dramani was seen in a discussion with some supporters. Reports claimed the coach had hinted at stepping down due to dissatisfaction with results.
However, speaking to Ghanasportspage, Dramani insisted his comments were taken out of context, explaining that the interaction was simply a light exchange with excited fans.
“The fan was just too happy he saw me,” he said. “They will ensure I continue with the good work. I assured him I will do my best and leave when the time is due.”
The former Black Stars assistant coach reiterated his commitment to the club, stressing that his focus remains on delivering results.
Hearts of Oak will look to get back to winning ways when they travel to face Samartex 1996 on Friday, December 26, at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex in matchday 16 of the Ghana Premier League.
