Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani remains confident in his squad as the Phobians gear up for Friday’s Premier League encounter against Dreams FC at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The Accra giants will be without striker Mawuli Wayo, who is suspended after receiving a yellow card in last weekend’s narrow away victory over Hohoe United.

Centre-back Kelvin Osei Asibey is also sidelined for the clash, having accumulated too many bookings this season.

Despite the absence of the duo, Dramani insists his team has learned to cope with adversity.

“The key aspect is that we have a consolidated team, and so we are a team. Whether you like it or not, these two players will not be eligible. And so once players are not eligible, we try not to even focus on them.

Hearts sit fifth in the league standings with 31 points from 18 matches and have built their campaign on defensive solidity, conceding only seven goals so far.

They are unbeaten in their last three home matches without letting in a goal and will be keen to extend that streak.

Dreams FC, however, arrive with confidence after winning three of their last four games, making the contest a crucial one for Hearts as they chase a move into second place.
