Hearts of Oak coach Didi Dramani has thrown his weight behind Hearts of Oak goalkeepers Benjamin Asare and Solomon “Agbasi”, saying they deserve a call-up to the Black Stars.
“They [Asare and Agbasi] are all good for the national team,” Dramani said. “There were times when we [Black Stars] had Salifu Ansah and Mohamed Odum. Hearts of Oak have had good goalkeepers who were both in the national team.”
Dramani believes both goalkeepers are in top form and deserve an opportunity to represent Ghana.
“Both of them are in top shape. It is the right way to go about it because both of them are one of the best goalkeepers we have in our local league and when you give them the opportunity then the grounds will show who has to lead.”
Asare and Agbasi have been impressive for Hearts of Oak.
Asare has six cleansheets this season while Agbasi has slotted in seamlessly as well.
