All 30-players invited to the Black Stars are expected to report to training by the end of the week.

The team commenced training on Monday afternoon with seventeen players towards the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

The number however swelled with captain Sulley Muntari joining his team-mates on Tuesday with Portugal-based wunderkind Christian Atsu and in-form winger Ishmael Yartey.

Genoa left-back Massawudu Alhassan also reported for the non-residential camping for the first time after missing Monday’s exercise to increase the number to 21.

Ghana will host Lesotho on June 1 in Kumasi before traveling to take on reigning African champions Zambia on June 9.

And though not yet a full house in the non-residential preparations, the Black Stars’ technical team are satisfied with players output in training.

“From what we saw in training today, this team will do very well,” assistant Black Stars coach Maxwell Konadu told GHANAsoccernet.com  after the opening training session.

“The players who are not here have given good reasons and we are sure they will all be here by the end of the week.”

The team will continue with their non-residential preparations until they move to camp on Sunday in Kunasi ahead if the game against Lesotho on June 1.
