Ghanaian defender Patrick Kpozo has extended his stay with Czech First League side FC Banik Ostrava until 2026.
Kpozo’s impressive debut season prompted the club to offer an extension, securing his services for another two and half years.
The club’s official statement reads: ”We have secured the services of Ghanaian full-back Patrick Kpozo for another two and a half years. The left-back at Bazale has extended his contract until the end of 2026.”
The Sporting Director Luděk Mikloško expressed his delight at Kpozo’s decision.
“Patrick’s consistent performance made extending his contract a no-brainer. He’s happy at Baník, and we’re thrilled to continue our cooperation.”
Kpozo has made 42 appearances for FC Banik Ostrava with three goals, and four assists provided.
He has played two games for Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars.
Kpozo joined FC Banik Ostrava in 2023 from Moldovan Superliga club FC Sheriff.
