Defender Patric Pfeiffer voted MOTM by Darmstadt fans for his performance against HSV

On Friday, August 19, 2022, defender Patric Pfeiffer scored his first goal of the season to inspire SV Darmstadt to defeat Hamburger SV.

Darmstadt defeated Hamburg in a tense match in which Pfeiffer scored after only four minutes.

After the game, Darmstadt fans voted and he received 118 of the 401 votes, which corresponds to a share of 29 percent.

The gap to the runner-up was clear, but not as clear as so often in the voting. Tobias Kempe, who prepared both Lilien goals against HSV, came in second with 19 percent.

Third place went to the scorer of the second goal, Phillip Tietz with 15 percent. This means that the three players who were directly involved in the goals share the first three places.
