French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco have announced that Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu will out on the sideline for several weeks after undergoing a surgery.
Salisu went under a knife after sustainig a pubalgia injury.
“Following persistent pain during the international break, Mohamed Salisu (pubalgia) will undergo a surgical intervention in the coming days,” an official club statement from AS Monaco said.
The 24-year-old is yet to feature for Monaco since signings for them last month from English club Southampton.
